This is a group photo of the ‘strandees’…those who stayed an extra day at Family Camp because the rivers were too swollen and fast in order to cross.  It meant we managed to have two additional lessons from Steve, and a ‘freebie’ as he put it.

This was the reason why the above group were stranded.
We checked every hour until it was low enough to cross through. We had to wait until after nightfall, although it began pouring again as we left, so our timing was just right!

The ford was flooded and moving at very high speed!
